Jim brought home a coupon from Encore Cafe (a pricey shi-shi restaurant that neither of us were THAT impressed with in Springboro) for a free entree for his birthday - which happens to be Feb 9th, he'll be 38. So, we decided to suck it up and take advantage.

I chose the Caribbean Skirt Steak and he had the Pan-seared Tuna. Pretty good. But the real fun was before dinner even started. In honor of my favorite Sex and the City character, Samantha, I ordered my very first Cosmopolitan. Smirnoff Citris, Triple Sec, Cranberry juice and a splash of lime. It. Was. Teh. YUM! By the time I'd had half the glass I was all kinds of flirty and giggly. It usually takes me 2 shots of tequila to get there.

I *so* wanna go to Arrow Wine and Spirits to stock up on supplies and throw a Sex and the City Cosmo party!!!!!!

WOOO!!! I had a refill and that was good, too!

That's MY birthday!! What a great day to be born. I guess almost anyday is a great day to be born come to think of it. Happy Birthday Jim!

I am considering having an informal get together at my place on Saturday, just havent decided yet. I guess I should decide on that, soon!

Encore Cafe is one of R's and my favorite places. Unfortunately, we don't get to eat out much anywhere anymore, unless it's a place that is kid-friendly and/or has a play area.

I think a flirty giggly athenawindsong would be kind of fun! ;-)

The ambiance and service is quite excellent, but we found it overpriced and thought the title of "cafe" was misleading. The food was quite good, too.

The ONLY time I get flirty and giggly is through alcohol. It's like I turn into some kind of blonde girlie girl - my polar opposite personality.

Tequila turns me into a dancing fool - literally, and absinthe gives me fits of giggles that come in waves. Wine (blush only, don't like red or white) and Cosmos seem to have the same effect - flirtiness. Pot makes me horny and tired. Go figure.
